RAK SPRAY PLASTER

DESCRIPTION–

RAKsprayplaster ispolymerbasedreadyto use compunds of innert filler materials for use on all common types of interior building surfaces. They give a high quality, even surface for painting or other finishes. RAK spray plaster is suitable for both precast and conventional building. They can be applied directly to either new or old solid surface of precast concrete, aerated concrete, sand/cement, fairface and level brickwork etc. The finished spray plaster surface does not require priming before painting. For use on all types of construction substrates as a base coat to level and rectify irregularities upto 10 mm thickness.

PREPARATION OF SURFACE

Ensure that dust, dirt and foreign matter are brushed away. Remove any ridges and traces of form oil or relese agents. Mask of any area not to be covered. Glass fiber mesh is used to reinforce block/concrete interfaces. Micro angle granuales should be used to reinforce corners.

APPLICATION

RAK spray plaster Base Coat ready for use, but can be diluted with 2-3% water if required. Patch/repair uneven/damaged surfaces. Spray the first coat and level with steel edges staptula. Excess material on the spatula should be returned to the machine. If required, apply a second coat of spray plaster base coat. Finish the surface with 1 or 2 coats of Spray Plaster finish coat.

SCOPE OF WORK
When RAK spray plaster Base Coat is used alone work stops for short periods, simply immerse thatsprayguninwater, wash around the top of machine and cover remaining spray plaster with a thin layer of water. When work resumes, remove the excess water from the machine and commence spraying. Equipment should be thoroughly
cleaned after use at the end of each day’s work.

PACKAGING & STORAGE

RAK spray plaster is supplied in 25 kg plastic sacks. These sacks are transported in heavy duty cardboard cartons on a disposable pallet of 1 MT unit. Pallets should be kept in covered storage protected from direct sunlight and excessive heat or cold. Pallets should never be stacked on top of each other. Store so that the oldest material is used first.

SHELF LIFE- Must be protected between 5oC and 30oC. 6 months in unopened airtight containers.

CLEANING- Clean all tools with water after use.

HEALTH & SAFETY- As with all chemical products, caution should always be execised. Protective clothing such as gloves and goggles should be worn (see packaging for specific instructions). Treat any splashes to the skin or eyes with fresh water immediately. Should any of the products be accidentaly swallowed fdo not induce vomiting, but call for medical assistance instructions and content details. Reseal all containwers after use and ensure product is stored as instructed on the safety section of labelling immediately.
